About my wedding
photography
I have been a professional photographer for around 25 years and in that
time I have shot hundreds of weddings in every kind of condition starting
way back with medium format film cameras on a tripod and these days using
the more flexible top pro SLR digital equipment.
No two weddings are alike with different couples, combinations of locations, the change of seasons and the mixture of families and friends. Meeting all these people and exchanging jokes and stories while recording a piece of family history in the most creative way possible is why I still enjoy shooting them so much.
The Wedding Coverage
With reportage and candid wedding photography so popular I am pleased to
say that with a press and fashion background, this is an area that I have
specialised in for many years (even before digital) so I have plenty of
experience in this style. However, with so many years in the business, I
do understand the value of the family group photos which can be so important
in later years as part of your family history. With all this in mind I am
happy to shoot to your own requirement whatever it is which is usually a
bit of both.
You will also be pleased to know that I work fast and get on well with people
making my weddings a fun occasion which of course they should be. I get
on well with videographers should you be using one and indeed my brother
Nick Curtis is
one of the top video guy's in the area. We have often worked together on
the same wedding which is great for both of us.
